On Tuesday, December 13, 2022, at 10am, in a meeting at the Sierra County Administration Building, 1712 N. Date, Truth or Consequences, NM 87901, the Board of County Commissioners of Sierra County will conduct a public hearing for the purpose of discussing the Sierra County Wireless Telecommunications Facilities Siting Ordinance.

The Board of Commissioners may vote on the Sierra County Wireless Telecommunications Facilities Siting Ordinance during the Commission Meeting to follow the public hearing. The public will be permitted an opportunity to present its views on the Wireless Telecommunications Facilities Siting Ordinance at the public hearing. The Wireless Telecommunications Facilities Siting Ordinance provides requirements for the location, placement, construction, design and modifications of Wireless Telecommunications Antennae, Towers, and other Wireless Telecommunications Facilities on lands and properties within the County.

Copies of the proposed Ordinance are available for the public to view free of charge at the County Clerk’s Office or the County Manager’s Office, both located at 1712 N. Date Street, Truth or Consequences, NM 87901.
